Sage Paediatric Occupational Therapy is a service based in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, NSW, supporting children (2-12 years) and the important adults in their lives.

Carly Beer graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 and has worked in not-for-profit and private paediatric settings.

Carly is passionate about supporting children and their families to meet meaningful goals through collaboration, connection and play. Carly has a special interest in sensory processing, emotional regulation, social interactions, behavioural difficulties or challenges that may prevent little buddies from participating in everyday tasks and meaningful activities.

Carly’s approach to therapy has developed through years of clinical experience and continuous professional development. As a busy mum of three young children, Carly understands the realities of family life and her therapy style reflects that through practical, family centred goals. She genuinely loves working with children and getting to know their individual personalities with a particular focus on their sensory profiles and how they experience the world around them.

Carly is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
